Caffetteria al Parlamento sits right in the heart of Rome, just by the Italian Parliament building, making it an ideal spot for a casual coffee break or a light meal while soaking in some local atmosphere. This isn't your typical tourist-only cafe; it has a relaxed, everyday vibe where locals and visitors alike come for both quality coffee and a comfortable place to pause.

The spot works well as a go-to for morning pick-me-ups, with standout options like latte macchiato and cappuccino served alongside fresh brioche, capturing that classic Italian breakfast mood. You'll find a mix of indoor seating and a small outdoor area that looks directly onto the parliament building, which gives a subtle nod to the neighborhood’s political pulse—perfect for people-watching or catching some sunshine on a quieter afternoon.

Service here moves efficiently, yet stays friendly and polite, adding to a low-key, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a setting that suits solo visitors wanting to enjoy a coffee with free WiFi or friends meeting up to enjoy a casual chat. On warmer days, the outdoor tables fill up quickly, but the air-conditioned interior offers relief when Rome’s summer heat sets in.

Beyond coffee, the menu touches on simple but satisfying food choices like pizza and traditional sweets such as tiramisu, providing enough variety for those looking to stay a while. This balance of coffee-shop comfort and casual Italian eats means it’s a versatile spot—not just for breakfast but also for an easy lunch or a light snack between sightseeing.

In short, this cafe appeals most to those who appreciate a blend of quality coffee, local energy, and a frontline view of one of Rome’s key landmarks, all in a cozy, no-fuss setting. The best time to visit is during the morning or early afternoon when the streets are lively but not overwhelmingly crowded, letting you take in the neighborhood’s character over a well-made espresso or a slice of pizza.

This place was right next to our hotel so we used to have our coffee here regularly for a few days, and it was great. After trying tiramisu in a few places in Rome, we found the best one here:)) the service was great always.

Nice and cosy cafeteria with inside and outside areas. The staff is very kind and polite and the service is fast. As a bonus you get a direct view of the Italian parliament building if you choose a table outside.

Charming little cafe with a great food selection. I had the pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The staff is super friendly and there is good quality free WiFi. I sat outside till it started raining just enjoying the sights and sounds of Rome and then went inside when it started raining. They play awesome music and overall this is an awesome establishment that I plan to visit again.

We had the macchiato al pistachio en macchiato al cioccolato. The pistachio tasted great. It's definitely a recommendation. The chocolate coffee tasted like Nutella chocolate, so that wasn't my cup of tea. The coffee costs €4,50 each. The location is very good. Not too crowded and de staff is nice.

A pleasant cafe right next to the parliament. We tried a cappuccino and a "hamburger" with salmon, which they baked for us, for breakfast. Coffee very good, so is the sandwich. The price – for 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches – 19 euros is for city centre ok. Good place for breakfast or little break in your tours.
